I am a messaging systems engineer by training, but due to my ability to pick up almost any technical concept, many just call me Subject Matter Expert. Yes, I am an engineer, but I also love to write. I have put together many project documents, white papers, case studies, proposals, and just about anything that can be considered technical writing.  Outside of writing I am also a certified technical trainer (Microsoft and other technologies).

No matter the technology, clear and concise technical documentation is always a requirement that cannot be overlooked.  The whole concept behind technical writing is to provide the reader what they need to know in the most understandable way possible given the level of experience of the target readers.
